These guys are Rockstars.
I met them the other day aboard the Gulf Air Plane flight I took from Dubai to Bahrain.
They were very kind.
I met the head manager , the head coach, and VP Ali Al Khalifa.
They were playing a match against Dubai.
Good luck to these cats just happened to be sponsored by Ferrari!
Wow, that was very cool!

Feb 7th, 2009-Gulf Air Took me to New Heights

On my recent trip to Dubai, I traveled aboard Gulf Air.
Golf in The Gulf.

I was amped to be aboard this awesome airline furnished with beautiful Rolls Royce Engines.
The planes were beautiful and the Golden Falcon soared high.
The service was amazing and the comfort level was top notch.

On the way from Dubai to Bahrain, I got very lucky when The VP on The National Soccer Team, Ali Al Khalifa, was on board.
I met him in first class and spoke with him about THE FUTURE of GOLF.
He was awesome and thought the project was very interesting.
He said he would present it to his family.
He said he had friends at BOOZ&CO, the firm who put my proposal together.
Ali Al Khalifa went to school in Washington and understand entertainment.
I was very pleased about this.

Looking forward to going back to Bahrain sometime soon.

Its large and incharge.
Its more than 195 stories

A truly magnificent place.
I didnt stay here, but checked it out and it was amazing.
If you stay here, consider yourself lucky.
Its a seven star hotel and the only one of its kind.

Feb 7th-DUBAI SPORTS CITY

Wow Guys!
I just got back from hanging out in Dubai and was introduced to The Dubai Sports City, the most innovative sports facilities in the world. It was really amazing. The Stadiums and domes, the golf courses, and the sports schools are all one of a kind. So glad to see this spot for this is the home of the future of sports.

My Homey Homero Blancas teein it up.
I havent heard from Homer forever.
I wonder where he is?

Homero Blancas, Jr. (born March 7, 1938) is an American professional golfer who has played on both the PGA Tour and the Senior PGA Tour (now known as the Champions Tour).

Blancas was born in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Houston from 1958–1962, and was a member of the golf team. Blancas shot a record-setting round of 55 (27-28) in a college tournament, which stands as the lowest round in the history of competitive golf. His 13 birdies and an eagle on a par-70 course in Longview, Texas on August 19, 1962 earned him the nickname "Mr. 55". He was inducted into the University of Houston Athletics Hall of Fame in 1978.

Blancas' 55 shot round (played on a course of just over 5,000 yards) was included in the Guinness Book of Records for a time, but shortly after officials removed his name after instituting a requirement that a course must be of at least 6,500 yards to achieve inclusion. The 55 shot round is still the lowest official golf score on record for course of regular par.

Blancas won four PGA Tour events. He turned pro in 1965 and was the PGA Rookie of the Year that year. He was a member of the 1973 Ryder Cup team. During his career on the PGA Tour, he had more than 4 dozen top-10 finishes. His best finishes in a major championship were a T-4 at the 1972 U.S. Open, and a T-5 at the 1972 Masters. Blancas spent the last 16 years of his regular career as club pro at Randolph Park in Tucson.

After turning 50 in March 1988, Blancas joined the Senior Tour. He has one victory in this venue – at the 1989 Doug Sanders Kingwood Celebrity Classic. He has 18 holes-in-one during his career, is a member of the Texas Golf Hall of Fame, and lives in Houston.

This is my friend Joe Jiminez. He was a great man!!
Joe Jimenez (June 10, 1926 – August 11, 2007) was an American professional golfer best known for winning the 1978 PGA Seniors' Championship.

Jimenez was born in Kerrville, Texas. He played on the PGA Tour in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. He spent many years (1964–1991) as the club pro at the Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Missouri. His best showing in a major championship was a T-45 at the 1958 U.S. Open. The highlight of his career came when he won the 1978 PGA Seniors' Championship in a playoff over Manuel de la Torre and Joe Cheves with a birdie on the first extra hole of a sudden-death playoff.

Jimenez holds or formerly held two of golfs "shoot below your age" records. At the 1991 GTE Northwest Classic, a Senior PGA Tour event, 65-year-old Jimenez became the youngest player to shoot his age or lower in a tournament on one of golf's major professional circuits by shooting a 63. This record was later broken when 61-year-old Walter Morgan shot a 60 in the AT&T Canada Senior Open Championship. Jimenez still holds the most-strokes-below-age record. He shot a 62 during the 1995 Ameritech Senior Open at the age of 69.

Since 1974, the Jefferson City Country Club has hosted a tournament in his honor, the Joe Jimenez Invitational. [2] He holds several Georgia-Pacific Grand Champions records.

Jiminez died on August 11, 2007 at his home in San Antonio from renal failure brought on by lung cancer. He was 81 years old.

JAN 4th, 2009-JOHN DALY HEADED TO EUROPE

I have liked John Daly ever since I saw him play for the first time on television when I was 11 or 12.
Then I met Daly when I was 14 in Kansas City during Tom Watson's Children's Mercy Classic and thought he was good for golf.

I looked up to him along with many other people around the world.
He has been a huge role model for youth around the world.

Sure he has brought controversy to the game and lightens up the mood a bit.
But something has gone terribly wrong with John.

Now I am a bit disappointed with all of his antics and his lack of respect for himself and his talent.
Playing on The European Tour is going to be good for Daly if he can realize how many people around the world look up to him.

He will be playing a lot and it will be good for him if he can keep his cool.
John needs to quit feeling sorry for himself.

If John Daley is truly The Lion, he better realize he sits in a powerful position and has a huge impact on lots of people.
Again, John needs to wake up and quit feeling sorry for himself.
Go out and take care of business like you are capable of.

This incredible meeting between Hip Hop's Snoop Dogg and Chrysler's Lee Iacocca occurred back on August 5th, 2005, only days before MACK DADDY CADDY's first event in San Francisco.

This incredible meeting and photo shoot has advanced the game and shows people where our great game can go and will go in the future. These guys are shot callers and b ballers.

GOLF is HEATING up in 2009!

INTERNATIONS GOLF SCENE is getting exciting with the variety of tours and world players traveling around in attempt to amass enough points on both THE USA PGA TOUR's FED EX CUP and THE EUROPEAN TOUR RACE TO DUBAI.

Apparently Tim Finchem, THE USA PGA TOUR COMMISSIONER, re formatted the FED EX CUP again this year to bring the spectators and players the most thrilling ride ever.

Then The Good Shiekhs of DUBAI put of $10 Million and made History with the richest prize in Golf.

Golf is certainly getting interesting.

This is great competition and drives up the interest and excitement in golf for sure.

WE SERIOUSLY NEED THIS.

NEXT, its time for golf tours around the world to unite.

Make a schedule complementing each of the interests in global advertising and marketing of both the game, the players, and the companies who support the tours.

The time is now.
THE FUTURE of GOLF IS HERE.

As Charlie Sifford said in his book, JUST LET ME PLAY, "It’s not the players who need to change the system, it’s the tournaments and the country clubs and the PGA itself. I don’t think it’s Jack Nicklaus who needs to get more involved, I think its corporate America itself. The people who bankroll these tours and the sponsors who pay for the TV time and are making a great deal of money out of golf….its in their best interests to make the game healthy and whole."

DEC 1, 2008-OMEGA GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

This past weekend, INTERNATIONAL TEAMS TEE'd it up at the famous MISSION HILLS GOLF CLUB about 30 minutes outside HONG KONG. It was an amazing week with OMEGA WATCHES as the TITLE SPONSOR. THE SWEDISH TEAM of Henrik Stenson and Robert Karlsson. It was quite a show.

To bad The America Team of Brandt Snedeker and Ben Curtis didn't fair as well.
Still, they had fun at this awesome event presented by OMEAGA.
