As you all know, San Diego is a very fun town with amazing sunsets, wicked beaches, beautiful ladies, and very fast cars. Back in 2004, I lived in San Diego's Mission beach for 6 months. This was right after two months in Houston and just before my 4 year hiatus in San Francisco and The North Bay.
San Diego is warm and sunny 90 percent of the time. There are golf courses galore and some amazing resorts such as La Costa, Torrey Pines, and Aviara. The night time entertainment around the gas lamp is awesome. Clubs and live music keep this city bumpin' way past 2am. And with the baseball park right down in the middle of all the action, there is never a dull moment.
This past weekend, I was down in San Diego having a blast in La Jolla, Carlsbad, and Downtown SD. Sloan and I had some meetings and we decided to check out what was going on late night. One of the nights we were in town, the night sky was lit up and illuminated like I had never seen before. It was amazing. We checked out The W Roof Top and hung out at The Hard Rock Hotel.
On Friday, I met with Scott Savlov, an amazing television producer with a long history in Golf and Concert Production.
On Saturday, Sloan and I met with Ben and Kristal Morris of Kristal Marketing. They took us out for dinner at the most amazing NOBU inside of The Hard Rock Hotel. The meal was a seven course extravaganza full of sushi, shrimp, lobster, and too many delicious dishes for one night.
San Diego always provides great times and I look forward to going back sometime soon so I can check out a couple more of the great hotels and bars. These people know how to have a good time.
